Prerequisite: Computer Science and/or concurrently enrolled Math Analysis or Computer Science; teacher recommendation
Graduation: Satisfies UC/CSU and WCCUSD Computer Literacy graduation requirements
Description: Intended to cover the advance programming topics and algorithms in Java, which student would need to pass the AP exam in Computer Science. The course covers topics in data structures, analysis of various algorithms and their different effeciencies, and various data-handling methods. Students who pass the AP exam can earn transferable college credit

AP Computer Science (AB Level) (H) (ROP)

 

Prerequisite: Advance Placement Computer Science and or/ teacher recommendation
Graduation: Satisfies UC/CSU and WCCUSD Computer Literacy graduation requirements
Description: Covers the advanced programming topics starting with a review of structures and classes and the merge sort algorithim. Topics proceed through the AP curriculum ending with a link-list. Students enrolled in this course will be prepared to take the AP exam (advance version) and can earn college credits.
